Sorry I came in so late. I'm not sure but normally drivers that are not rpm's compile kernel modules, in which case you will need to install libstdc++33-devel as well as libstdc++33 to enable the compiler to find the library. libstdc++33 definitely contains libstdc++.so.5 and if you look in /usr/lib64 you should be able to find it. There is also the 32 bit version for x86_64 called libstdc++33-32bit which would place a libstdc++.so.5 in /usr/lib. Hope this helps.
