Is it possible to connect a Sun keyboard/mouse that comes with a Sun Sparc 5 to PC hardware and use it with e.g. SuSE? I assume (hope) that the Sun keyboard/mouse must (can) be connected via a converter.
Yes, there are a few companies that sell these but they are pretty expensive, e.g. http://makeashorterlink.com/?W28235424 .
Thanks (especially for the swift reply), they are expensive indeed.
And they are not very satisfactory. The non-standard keys (alt, cursor keys, etc.) probably won't work. Okay if you are just doing mouse and typewriter key type stuff. Going the other way (PC keyboard on Sun), I found it much better to just use a Linux box as a X terminal. Jeffrey
