After you've run "fetchmsttfonts", be sure to run SuSEconfig. As far as Star Office (or Open Office) is concerned, John Hunt pointed the following out to me the other day on this list. Better and easier to go online, then run "fetchmsttfonts" as root, which will automatically connect to the M$ site and download and install TT fonts.
