I tried to install Ardour form the Multimedia project repo on OBS. It said it was missing a dependancy, but I resolved it by ignoring it. Can't set it back now to see what is missing exactly. If I recall it had something to do with Raptor. Thought it was odd that a critical dependency would be unresolvable, so figured it wasn't critical. Following is what it coughed up on the CLI.
While this problem likely arised because you ignored the conflicts (do not do that then :-) ) It still looks like a bug /ABI breakage.
raptor_new_uri_for_rdf_concept called with Raptor V1 world object *** glibc detected *** /usr/lib/ardour2/ardour-2.8.11: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0x0882ad00 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/libc.so.6(+0x6de2b)[0xb62e0e2b] /lib/libc.so.6(+0x6e5fe)[0xb62e15fe] /usr/lib/libraptor2.so.0(raptor_free_world+0x2a)[0xb5889eea] /usr/lib/libraptor.so.1(raptor_finish+0x2e)[0xb54f17ae]
^^ here, here that smells fishy.. likely two different libraries (v1 and v2) are loaded which provide the same symbols..with different meaning and kaput, they clash. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
