I have a similar set up here. I use IP_MASQUERADING on the Linux box. In the fix /etc/rc.confg is where you need to set up masquerading. Actually I had a tough time getting it to work there so I went to the source at /sbin/init.d/masquerade. under start-for loop I added: ipfwadm -F -a m -S 192.168.1.10/24 -D 0.0.0.0/0
I tried the above set-up and it failed. I could not get any traffic through the LAN. eth0 is hooked up to the Internet eth1 is hooked up to the Private LAN with two machines using home LAN IP's. What would I need to do on the client side and server side to make this work? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
