[01-09-13 14:43]: [...] I followed Per Jessen's suggestion, and found mod_fastcgi, but it refused to install, I do not know why.
Describe the procedure you utilized. Perhaps there is a problem there. --
1) I went to software.opensuse.org/search 2) searched for 'fastcgi' 3) Found apache2-mod_fastcgi, so selected it's link Nothing displayed on this page but version numbers, and for each a link 'show unstable packages; selecting which gives a warning re; package from 'unofficial repositories' may be unstable or experimental 4) Clicked OK on modal dialog containing the above warning 5) Selected "1 Click Install" for 'Apache:modules' v 2.4.2 This opened a dialog box askign what to do. I selected 'Open with YaST' I pressed 'Next' a couple times, until I got a warning re: "Import Untrusted GniPG Key" in a dialog box. I selected 'Trust, so I could proceed. Then I got an error re 'conflict' vis 'Nothing provides libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.15)(64bit) needed by apache2-mod_fastcgi-2.4.2-39.1x86_64 The only choices provided where to not install it or break mod_fastcgi - of course, no point in installing a broken package The problem appears to be that the module, as built depends on a library that is neither on my system nor included in the package as made available for download. I have no idea what package libc.so.6 would be found in, so I am stuck. Any insight regarding a solution would be appreciated.
