The concept of runlevels is obsolete in systemd from what I understand. Systemd works with 'units' and/or 'targets'.
The installation system of 12.2 contains a window to choose runlevel 3 or 5 for the installed system.
And 3 on Grub cmdline still causes a boot to tty1 on systems than normally boot directly to an xdm. Imagine trying to remember to append whatever?.target if 3 no longer performed that task! :-p
But it supposed to be so much easier then just typing a "3". :-) -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
