Hello, Having a problem with my Win98 partition on my second HD. When i go to /root/mnt/Win98/Windows->Desktop, nothing comes up and Kfm freezes. I can look at any other part of the C:\ drive, ie: Program Files, etc. but not my windows desktop. I keep transfered files in a folder there so I can access them from linux or anywhere else. This has not happened before with prior installs of SuSE, and I did the same things this time when I re-installed SuSE after my Mandrake fiasco. I also loose my KDE desktop icons and end up rebooting. This happens as user or root and scares me when it happens as root as I do not want to mess up this install. SuSE is on hda and Win98 is on hdb. Any thoughts? Could samba somehow affect this?
