What I ment is that you should check and see if the server that you have specified as the outgoing mail server is correct. Often isp's have different names for their outgoing and incoming mail servers..eg. smtp.ips.net and mail/pop.isp.net. I have had several accounts at isp's over the years that have done this..you might check this out. Some email clients bitch if they can't resolve the exact server that is specified and I think kmail is cranky in this respect. Check out the website of your isp and find out the exact naming convention.
