I can't seem to find acroread any more.
Anton,
I've always preferred kpdf over acroread anyway. Much more flexible on
search/copy/paste. kde4/ocular should work as well, but I've not used it.
I'm currently limping by with Foxit and a pile of unseemly 32-bit libraries :-(
zypper install can't find kpdf or ocular. I wonder why?
Foxit is not very good at form filling. Some GovCanada forms, not least of all the tax forms, seem only to work with Adobe.
Anton,
kpdf is kde3. You'll need to add the repo:
22:41 alchemy:~/.../io/network/sockets> cat /etc/zypp/repos.d/kde3.repo [kde3] name=kde3 enabled=1 autorefresh=1 baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_13.1/ type=rpm-md keeppackages=1
Is there a substantial differences between KPDF and Okular? I thought Okular was integrating the whole KPDF features and adding its own for KDE4. Could you clarify? Regards, R.Chung -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
