I've been using apt/synaptic to update my system and I did something that messed up my fonts. It seems that it has only affected kde but I don't think it's related to my jump to 3.1.3. I think I noticed it before I upgraded.
When I open the Konsole / xterm I get this message ...
-- Font `-misc-console-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-c-80-iso10646-1' not found. Check README.linux.console for help.
I tried to find the readme but couldn't. I checked dvd2 but couldn't find the source package named console or konsole. I also searched through the archives but couldn't find an answer.
I think I saw that message as well. IIRC, I ran fonts-config -f, and that took care of it. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM.
