Speakfreely or other equivalent program.

Hi all! Happy new year!!! Has anyone got the SpeakFreely program to work agains a Windows machine? Or any other machine at all? All i get is garbeled sounds.. Are ther any other Voice-over-ip programs for Linux that can connect to any Windows clients?? I need one for a conference quite soon.. And id HATE to have to reinstall Windows just for that..
