I'm using gFtp and Suse 10. I upgraded to Suse 10 about 3 months ago. Before that I used Suse 8.1 and IglooFtp. Transfering files with gFtp is very slow compared to IglooFtp. Is that normal?
Is there anything I can do to speed up the operation of gFtp?
Or, can anyone recommend an ftp client that is faster than gFtp?
Why don't you continue using Igloo? Or did you wipe it, and the key out when you upgraded. I still have mine working on 10.0

I'd love to continue using Igloo but its not on my Suse 10 CD(s). I belive they now charge for the software.
I assume you purchased a copy of Igloo FTP?
Yes, about 3 years ago. Twenty bucks I think, for the Linux version. I just kept the rpm and the id code and reinstall it everytime I upgrade. Bob S.
