I use the same hardware with windows and also when I used fedora I succeed
to connect
the modem is connected via ehternet cable

Ok, next question. Have you used this succesfully with either Apple or a Micorsoft set up? With this hardware being a router I would have thought that you need to access it via the usual web browser interface. Am I correct here? I have found some mention of the hardware on Google but mainly just ISPs stating they supply it.
