I wanna play .asf and .asx file on Linux. What I must do, install, configure to do that? Is it really a complex task that takes a lot of days??
Nope. You need avifile (a recent CVS snapshot, preferably), and the Win32 codecs to start with, so head here: http://avifile.sourceforge.net/
And if too I wanne play divx, what can I must do, configure, intall to do that??
One application does this all, and other video formats (but not Real or Quicktime): MPlayer http://mplayer.sourceforge.net/ Read the documents and build it yourself; there are some really cool new features not included in what SuSE ships. -- -=|JP|=- Need a good geek?
