Donload libdvdcss from videolan.org or the rpms from packman's site, google for vobcopy and download and install that. Vobcopy can do a number of things. It can make a compelete mirror of a DVD's file structure, decrypting it on the fly, but leaving it otherwise as is. It can extract individual tracks, It can decrypt a track (say a movie) and save it as one large vob file (usefully if you want to encode with, say, mencoder), or split the files up (2gb iirc).
