It is really easy to install proftpd. Just install the package using Yast2, and set the START_PROFTPD value in rc-config to on. You might have to enable the ftp service in inetd.conf or xinetd.conf, with the correct link. The proftpd package contains several configuration exemples, including one for an anonymous ftp. Overall it's very good and looks a lot like Apache. Best regards, David Garnier
