Listmates, After updating my 1 11.1 box to kde43, yast begin broke with the familiar "ycp" error usually indicating a libqt mismatch. Instead of monkeying around with libqt, I removed yast2 completely with rpm -e --nodeps, the reinstalled the same list of packages with zypper in. Worked perfectly. In the past, the solution had been to enable factory-oss and let both libqt and yast update which left you with a yast that would work, but would break if your base system pulled conflicting qt packages in. By just removing and reinstalling yast with the current base set of repositories, you eliminate the risk of future qt packages breaking it again... -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E.
