I have been unable to properly configure Opera 7.23 for SuSE 9.0/KDE 3.1.4. Acrobat5 is properly invoked by Konqueror as a user, but not in Opera. I have attempted several things: (1) I linked /usr/X11R6/lib/Acrobat5/Browsers/intellinux/nppdf.so to /usr/lib/opera/plugins/nppdf.so (2) I made both: /usr/lib/opera/plugins/nppdf.so and /usr/lib/opera/plugins/libnpp.so world executable. (3) File->Preferences->Multimedia->EnablePlugins = on (4) File->Preferences->Plugins->plugin path = /usr/lib/opera/plugins/:/usr/X11R6/lib/Acrobat5/Browsers/intellinux (5) File->Preferences->FileTypes-> application/pdf pdf application/x-opera-nsplugin (6) Close and reopen Opera (7) Reboot I would greatly appreciate if someone who has acrobat5 working with Opera could offer some advice. Thanks ahead. -- "Don't you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought?
