I have an Epson Action Lazer 1500 which AFAIK never was supported but it
does have HPIIISi emmulation and HPIII emulation. so check your printer
manual. Also note Suse assumes European paper sizes you have to set it
to use US Letter yourself.

Just about to order my set of the 9.0 CD's and am wondering if my Epson printer is supported by generic modules/drivers. I have recently contacted the Epson support desk locally and they do not support linux :(
The printer is an Epson Stylus 800+.
The printer support is not really related as to whether the kernel can see it, but as to whether or not CUPS supports it (assuming you'll be using CUPS?) in which case, CUPS supports it.
