You will need to place a symlink to the executable in the /etc/smrsh directory. This is the "sendmail secure shell" or something like that, I use qmail myself ;-p This should at least point you in the right direction. On Fri, 2001-10-19 at 14:51, Chuck wrote:
I want to send mail to a certain email address and have it execute a script instead.
I have this in /etc/aliases:
runapx:"|/usr/local/admin/myscript.pl"
I ran sendmail -bi to rebuilt the database.
This is not working. This works on our Irix systems.
Does anyone know how to do this on SuSE?
Thanks, CC
