However I would like to reload lilo on the MRB so that I can boot via HDD again..
Any steps.. (plus a fall back option if it all fails if possible)..

I believe you are referring to the MBR (Master Boot Record), not MRB. Anyways, LILO can be re-loaded by running 'lilo -v'. That will re-write LILO to where it was configured to be. You don't seem to want to change any settings... To see where LILO is being installed, run 'cat /etc/lilo.conf | grep "^boot"'. The partition that's listed (in 'boot = /dev/hd??' format) is the one where LILO is installed. If not partition is given but a hard drive (e.g., /dev/hda), LILO is installed in the MBR of that hard drive. A fallback option... just use the floppy you have now. -- Karol Pietrzak PGP KeyID: 3A1446A0
