Hi,
When I try to mount my IDE ATAPI Zip drive in SuSE 7.1 I get the following error
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdd1
I mount with mount -t vfat /dev/hdd1 /zip
I use a parallel port zip. When I insert a vfat formatted floppy I have to refer to the device as sda4. When I insert an ext2 formatted floppy I use sda1. If you are using previously formatted (vfat ) floppies it might be accessible via /dev/hdd4. When your format your own with ext2 then /dev/hdd1 would be the device. You can use /dev/hdd4 /zip auto noauto, user 0 0 in /etc/fstab. JLK
Anyone knows what's wrong??
