(sorry if this is a bit long, but I wanted to include enough info) Hi, I can't seem to get apache2 and php working together here. If I don't install apache2_mod_php4 then apache works properly, but as soon as I add modphp then apache2 won't serve pages. Doing: /etc/init.d/apache2 restart -e debug gives me: Starting httpd2 (prefork) [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module access_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module actions_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module alias_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module auth_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module auth_dbm_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module autoindex_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module cgi_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module dir_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module env_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module expires_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module include_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module log_config_modul e [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module mime_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module negotiation_modu le [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module setenvif_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module ssl_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module suexec_module [Mon May 31 11:41:19 2004] [debug] mod_so.c(247): loaded module userdir_module When I try to access any page on the server, I get this: [Mon May 31 11:42:14 2004] [notice] child pid 14115 exit signal Segmentation fault (11) Interestingly, nothing is showing up in the access.log, so the problem must be occuring very early on. Is there any way to fix this, or alternatively to find out which/what child process is dying? thanks in advance for any help, Nik
