For most, just send e-mail to the phone number with area code and the
carrier's name, e.g., 5125551212@mobile.att.net. I use maildrop (procmail
works too) to copy some e-mails to my cellphone, e.g., severe weather
alerts, tornados, flash flood watches, etc. Texas weather keeps life
from getting too dull.

Howdy,
I'd like to set up an email alias that runs a script that automatically sends a message to my phone. I'm sure it's possible, I just don't know how.
The page I'm referring to is http://www.mobile.att.net/mc/personal/pager_show.html
Does anyone have anything like this already? I tried to look on freshmeat but I must not be using the right query =)
