You did. Of course you did, else it wouldn't be installed. The commands vainfo and vdpauinfo say that it is installed. I never used them, but I'm not blind either. The driver got installed automatically. Maybe you didn't notice. But it is ridiculous to say you didn't install it. Software does not grow by itself. So it comes to: blacklist the radeon driver after you installed the amdgpu driver as described by Masaru.
