only have the evaluation disk - will get X 4.0 dloaded tonight.
Why download? There's a minimal version of XFree86 4.0 on your 6.4 CDs. AFAIR, it's on the second CD in the directory unsorted. It also comes with SaX2, currently the *only* GUI configuration tool for XFree86 4.0.
As I said - only have the *evaluation* disk (burnt from iso) - not box set. 4.0 install went o.k., had to Ctrl+Alt+"+" to see screen in SaX2, & "rpm -e" some packages not specified in "README" susewm* was the important one, had to "--force" it back in.... (this might be because I ftp'd the directory in W98). Works great! - well done SuSE :-) -WBD -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
