Have you tried mounting using smbmount?
Don Raboud
I mount a Windows server share as follows:
mount -t smbfs //server/share /n -o username=xxx,password=xxx,rw,lfs
If I browse that directory, my laptop locks up, forcing me to turn it off. This happens only when browsing as a user other than root.
SuSE 10, Samba 3.0.21c-3.1.4-SUSE-SL10.0
Any ideas? Are there other flags I should be using?
Thanks.
