ATI Radeon 9600 SE-3D hardware acceleration

Hello, I just installed this video card, downloaded the drivers and ran through the lengthy configuration process. The instructions then say to execute the following "fglrxinfo" This is what is returned: Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0". Error: couldn't find RGB GLX visual! When using YAST to configure 3D hardware acceleration it says this card doesn't support it. How do I enable 3D hardware acceleration and how do I fix the errors that are displayed by the above command? Config: AMD Athlon XP 1800+ Suse Linux 9.0 Thanks, Robert Pollard
