Seems you hit bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=564816 aria2c failed to download the file (for some reason), but told zypper it succeeded. We are working on a fix. In the meantime, you can use ZYPP_ARIA2C=0 to work around the problem, e.g.: $ ZYPP_ARIA2C=0 zypper dup This will use curl instead of aria to get the files for this command. HTH
