Has anyone else noticed that if Mozilla 0.9.4 knows the file extention it does funky stuff with the file. Every tar.gz or .pdf I've downloaded with it has issues. It changes the name of the file to something like " f49skht.tar.gz" and won't let me specify where I want it put..it just downloads the stuff to /tmp. I've backed down to 0.9.3 after discovering that it has issues with some .jpg's..a KDE themes site wouldn't display it's screenshots..and neither would e.themes.org..among others I tried after that. I submitted a bug about it.
It's just an FYI and I wanted to know the thoughts of others.
I've noticed something similar. Have you tried holding the shift key down when you click the link? I've found that works for ftp links embeded in documents.
