detect-autoconf.pl assumes autoconf is in your path. Is it? What is the output of "type autoconf"?
Hi, Anders,
As stated in a previous message, I think we are one step further with this issue. The problem with autoconf was case-related.
No it wasn't. AUTOCONF is a variable, it is supposed to be set in the script detect-autoconf.pl. On my 10.1 it works perfectly
See the following lines...
citlali:~/kdenetwork # type autoconf autoconf is /usr/bin/autoconf citlali:~/kdenetwork # type AUTOCONF -bash: type: AUTOCONF: not found citlali:~/kdenetwork #
Once I've change AUTOCONF with autoconf in the cvs.sh script, the previously described error dessapeared and a new one arose:
You're not supposed to edit it, this is not a solution. This problem, as well as the others that arose, indicate that there is something wrong with your environment.
citlali:~/kdenetwork # make -f Makefile.cvs This Makefile is only for the CVS repository This will be deleted before making the distribution
: command not founde 8:
This means you have really screwed something up. That is a line number from some text editor or other, it is not meant to be in the script itself. I can't tell what you did to get this, but whatever it was it wasn't good I suggest you delete the source tree and download it again from svn. On a healthy system it will work without any edits
