I've just downloaded and built kcdlabel. It works fine if I click on it. I'd like to add it to my menu, but I have two (minor, I'm sure) problems:
(1) I can't find anything on adding a reference to it to the menus in the documentation. I'm sure I'm looking in the wrong places, but I really can't find out how to do this.
Kicker (start) system - tools - menu editor
At the risk of *REALLY* sounding dumb... I went to the menu editor (thanks for pointing it out) and added KCDLabel to one of the groups. I can call the editor up again, and I see the item there. When I open the menu and go to that group, however, it's not there. I thought I might need to restart KDE, so I did - it's still not there. I'm obviously either leaving something out or doing something wrong. Thee is no reference to "menu editor" in the SUSE documentation. How do I get the new app to show up on the menu? -- Satterwhite's Observation #2: In any situation in which theory conflicts with reality, reality wins every time.
