To adjust the proposal, choose Guided Setup. First, *choose which hard disks and partitions to use*.
There it is.
I do recall that setting, though I generally end up deleting the Yast suggestions and just telling it to use one partition of ext4 for the laptop.
I also recall configuring it to only install to sdb, but that it put the boot loader on sda anyway.
To be safe I'll probably just put another hdd in the first bay and then do the install. That way if os_prober decides to modify the boot sector of sda, at least it will just be another Linux install.
Thanks Carlos.
Welcome. But if you use this feature, and the boot goes to sda, you should report in bugzilla. You should also review carefully what yast says in the boot section before giving it the go ahead. If you are using traditional, non-uefi boot, you can also tell it not to modify the boot sector. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.3 x86_64 at Telcontar)
