I've missed something but I don't know what.
I have posted several times a problem wherein the nfsserver will not load at boot time. I have to manually start the /etc/init.d/ files for it to work correctly.
I have been unable to find any reference to NFS in any of the logs which might indicate a reason why this fails.
It is in the runlevel editor. It does work manaully.
I can't believe I'm the only person to ever ask this question on this list. I've spoken to others on other lists that have the same problems.
If there might be some suggestions on what to even try it would be appreciated. But so far I haven't see anything regaring any NFS solutions.
We had a similar problem back in 7.0. I can't remember the exact cause but it was this file that needed changing: /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S14nfsserver I've sent you our copy (working copy from SuSE 9.0) off list as I don't think I'm allowed to post it here. HTH. Steve.
