I'm running SuSE 6.3 on a PC at home and have been using fetchmail and Sendmail without any problems until recently. Just installed Postfix and removed Sendmail, using rpm. Configured /etc/postfix/main.cf as best I can and am using 'fetchmail' to download e-mail from my ISP as usual which seems to be working fine. Problem is my e-mail isn't being delivered to my '/home/gs/nsmail' mailbox. It all seems to be stuck in '/var/spool/postfix/maildrop' I try starting postfix with '/usr/sbin/postfix start' and then '.../postfix flush' but I then get the following error message: 'postkick: warning: Cannot contact class public service qmgr - perhaps the mail system is down' I'm quite sure my '/etc/aliases' file is fine. Any ideas, please??? ____________________________________________________________________ Get free email and a permanent address at http://www.amexmail.com/?A=1 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
