Hi all, I just picked up Suse 7.3 Pro and I want to put it on my Gateway 5300 laptop. I'd like to have some pointers (other experiences) from anybody that has installed Suse on a Gateway. Here's what I have: Intel® Pentium® III Processor 700mgh with speedstep 14.1" XGA TFT Active Matrix 256MB SDRAM 10GB Ultra ATA hard drive Intel 82371AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller Modular 3.5" Diskette Drive Modular Samsung CD-ROM Drive SN-124 (Standard) S3 Savage/IX w/MV (Macrovision) video chip with 8mb memory ESS Maestro PCI Audio Type 2 & 3 PCMCIA expansion slots (Ricoh RL/RB5C478 Cardbus Controller) 3com Megahertz FE575C 10/100 Lan Cardbus Fast Ethernet Actiontec 56K V.90 Modem I'm really looking forward to installing Suse on this laptop. I just want as little problems as possible before I do it :) One more thing, I'm not duel booting this, I want to do a complete install with only Linux. I connect to the internet through a external ADSL modem so getting the network card working is essential, but, from what I've read on the supported hardware section of Suse I'm not to sure if my card will work. Can someone help me!!! Mike Williams
