Looks like this new installation is falling apart at the seems. In Gnome, when I try to open Yast2, after it prompts me for the root password, I get the error... Gnome SuperUser:b:connection to ":0.0" refused by server When I try to open Yast2 in Enlightenmet I get prompted for the password and then nothing happens at all. Since my new install I have been keeping up to date with all of my packages using apt. Currently Running Gnome 2.2.2-SuSE.ulb.1 Enlightenment 0.16.5-809 YaST2 2.7.30-30 Synaptic 0.43.1-rb1 and the following apt sources.list rpm ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/ SuSE/8.2-i386 suse-people base update-prpm update kde xfree86 mozilla extra usr-local-bin funktronics packman packman-i686 kde3-stable security-prpm security rpm-src ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/ SuSE/8.2-i386 suse-people base update-prpm update kde xfree86 mozilla extra usr-local-bin funktronics packman packman-i686 kde3-stable security-prpm security Are any of these experimental, cause if so, I want to get rid of them. I only want a stable install and I only want to upgrade stable packages. Advice? Thanks, -=Thinker
