Unless the themes are from an RPM package, in which case DO NOT do this, as it will cause inconsistency between what is actually installed, and what the RPM database thinks is installed.
Probably more sensible to symlink rather than rename.
Sure I was talking about new themes from sources, because there is nothing wrong with suse's theme rpm packages.
