------------------------------------------------------- Not sure what that means. Of course the libexf.so.9 doesn't really exist. apt & rpm thinks it does but evidently kooka knows better. Thought I could fix it with a link to the newer libexif file but can't figure out how to do that. Believe it or not the newer libexif-0.5.9-26 file lists a libexif.so.8
Sooooo, are we fooling ourselves ?? Kind of looks like we will have to wait for the KDE development team to fix it.

PS Hey, it is impossible that I am the only one that has this problem.
The Suse package builder must have somehow installed a newer libexif and is building the 'updates' with it. I finally just built an 8.2 package for it, but beware, it requires rebuilding other packages which are looking for libexif.so.8. You could maybe make a link to libexif.so.9, run ldconfig, use you fake rpm to supply libexif.so.8, and that might work. Like I said, I rebuilt the packages. I am enclosing the package for libexif.so.9, which was built on 8.2, since it isn'y too big. HTH
Thanks Anders & Joe, Question though, If I rebuild kdegraphics or install the libexif rpm's Joe so kindly provided, will that mess up apt the next time I try to upgrade?? Richard?? Bob S.
