Hi.
Perhaps there is a more convincing general reason, but I've seen the same using DOS formatted zips on my IDE Zip. I changed the zip, or DOS formatted it again, and it was recognized.

: Hi Guys
:
: While 7.2 is loading it appears to enable the usbmngr (?) and places an icon
: on mydesktop for the zip drive. When I try and mount the zip drive I get the
: error ' /dev/sda4 is not a valid block device'. This is strange as it appears
: in /fstab and i think all the necessary drivers are there.
:
: Here's the line from fstab: /dev/sda4 /media/zip auto noauto,user 0 0
:
: Where can I look for anpther clue, or what is the fix for this problem ?
:
: Thanks
