Before you go buying any laptop, google on complaints <company> You will be surprised what you see on some of the major sellers/manufacturers. Service seems to either be great or frighteningly dismal. Be especially wary of their Customer Satisfaction warranties. They can be very limited in scope and time. I recently bought a low end model from one of the leaders and although it ran SuSE9.1 better than xp, I had a helluva time with tech support and customer service trying to resolve a dead unit 3 weeks after I received it. If they follow through and actually send me another new unit, I may have nice things to say about them, but talking to 9 or 10 people around the world in almost 3 hours on the phone is a bit trying. Outsourcing Tech/Customer Support really sucks big time. Caveat Emptor ra
