Hi, hope this is not an old subject.
I have a ASUS Pundit with the sis5513 and i cannot access the harddisk. It keeps reporting "ide failed opcode was: 0xef" and "invalid geometry: 0 phisical heads".
Is this the old Pentium board? The SiS chipset of those times and the newer IDE code in the kernel (2.4.26 roundabout and onwards) doesn't mix well.
If that's tot the board, ignore my post :-)

HI I don't know if this is new or old, its ASUS P4S8L. If it is the old one, will a bios update work, or will i be stuck with an old kernel? Thanks for your time Jorge -- Using Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/mail/
