well over the past day we've had a lot of discussion on different partitioning programs that are free and substitutes for PartitionMagic. If you have to choose only one choose SuSE and you can burn a copy of Knoppix which it seems has some nice partitioning tool(s).
Good suggestion -- we will follow-up on this our copy of Partition Magic won't handles the "bigger drives"
And as usual make sure you know what you are doing when partitioning...

Hi
I have a question, does any one on this list know what "program" SuSE used to build their YaST2 partitioning program on --
---text deleted --- What I didn't say was it was a used machine that came with windows 98 -- we were considering saving that but the machine froze on us -- and we had to "turn it off" so -- to make a long story short, we reformated the hard drive with our old DOS 6.2 disk, leaving room for our linux partitions -- We are now installing W@K. Thanks for your input-- HAND Best regards, Gar Gar __________________________________________________________________ McAfee VirusScan Online from the Netscape Network.
