Hi Guys I've got a toy to try out here. Its a D-Link DP-602 Internet Server. I would like to try and set it up so the rest of my clan can access it from their 'doze stuff and share my modem, but here's the catch. Is it gonna be possible to set this up as my DHCP server ( It has built in IP of 192.168.100.1), connect my modem to it and use as normal. I assume I would have to point KPPP towards it and use a local domain and the D-Link server's IP, instead of currently using my ISP's domain name and DNS IP address ? I hope this makes sense ;-( Mail would then work as per normal, I think it would just look for the pop.xxxxx server as usual. Has anyone any pointers here as after setting it up and trying to ping it, I just get "can't find network". GRT also told me today that he saw something about a bug in 2.2.14 regarding Zip drives, any idea where I can find this info, tried searching the SuSE archives, but nothing there, or at kernel.org. As always, many thanks for nay help.
