A while back, I used YOU to upgrade my KDE to 3.3 (I am on SuSE 9.1). I want to check for recent updates and now can't remember how I did this before. What I am doing now is... 1. Start YOU 2. Add a "User defined location" as an installation source. This I define as protocol: ftp server name: ftp.suse.com directory on server: pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_9.1/ 3. click on Next This shows "retrieving ionformation about new updates" for a few moments then an error message: "Patch information retrieval failed". I click on "Details" and see: error Couldn't cd to i386 But, I can use ftp or the browser to go to the directory manually. -- Robert C. Paulsen, Jr. robert@paulsenonline.net
