Hi, I have a co-location machine setup, it sits behind a cisco router used as a firewall. There is a mail problem of sorts and the operators have setup a web-mail system for everyone on the subnet, rather than let everyone run pop on their machines.
I CAN: --use cgi scripts to send out mail via sendmail --I can accept incoming mail, and retreive it thru the pop protocol
I CANNOT: -- reply to mail downloaded thru pop, and reply to it, and have sendmail at my domain relay it properly.
Where in sendmail.cf do I tell sendmail to accept mail from pop clients and forward them out, as normal isp's operate?
Did this make sense? :-)
No. Pop receives mail it doesn't send it. Are you saying the system won't relay? What exactly is the error message that sendmail is giving you?
