to the Device section in /etc/X11/XF86Config. But I doubt very much that it's the splash in itself that is causing the console corruption.
I doubt it too, but it was suggested in a previous post so I thought I would at least try it.

Actually, just using the older driver did the trick(but I used the 4463 driver I belive). Splash screen still intact. Thanks -- Michael mailto:mike@w2leo.net
