[02-18-07 20:55]: To those of you who answered/read my post of earlier today about problems with my Internet/wireless connection and keyboard—well the problem has been solved. I changed distributions—to PCLinuxOS. Thanks for your suggestions. A posting from another forum gave me the answer I needed. My printer problem has not been solved yet, but the wireless connection and keyboard have given me no problem whatsoever. Sorry openSUSE.

Patrick: I certainly can understand his frustration after I spent a whole month trying to get my system working right. I have FC-6 on another box here and had the latest Kubuntu standing by, waiting for my fuse to blow. Luckily the problem got solved before that happened. Since then I have flown FC-6 for a while and it also is a nice distro. Both do what I want them to do. I can report that FC-6 gave me absolutely no problems at all, unlike the initial hal problem in Suse10.2, but now both run ok.
