KDE and dual monitors didn't do well together in SuSE 5.3 days, so I learned fvwm2.
SuSE 8.2 has the newest stable fvwm2 desktop, but some things fell out: 1) the SuSE menu-button doesn't have YAST2 in its pulldown menue :-(( 2) I can't read the new colorful xclock on my 1280x1024 screen, even on a really nice NEC 21" monitor. 3) The left-mousebutton pulldown menue lost the "xterm" command.
Up through SuSE 7.x, there was an ".fvwm2rc" in the /home/user directory so I could change these things.
Question: What (and where) is the configuration information for fvwm2 stored now?
You probably should look in /usr/share/doc/packages/fvwm2 and look at the sample fvwm2rc files. You should copy one of the samples to your home dir. There used to be a menu item, to configure fvwm2, which made a fvwm2rc file in your homedir, otherwise it uses the systemwide default (but I can't seem to remember where it is on my 8.1 system). -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
